Project 2: Special Effects

Project number two for E-media. Special effects were a theme to introduce. Here I wanted to add an ironic situation of having a medieval swordfight replaced with lightsabers from the film Star Wars. I also added a darkening around the action to draw the eye to the fighters, not the crowd behind them. Why Star Wars? I felt the lightsaber effects were a great step in computer-generated effects, ad wanted to place them in unfamiliar setting. With Star Wars being set in the future, a medieval swordfight would be the last place to find futuristic battles.

Project 1: Zoomorphism

Here is my first project for my E-media class. The subject of Zoomorphism is taking animals and humans and super imposing the two images to form a near seamless fantasy image. I took the idea of a mermaid or fairy on the ocean floor. The fairy figure took a lot of blending careful selection editing. So far, we are off to a good start for my web work and digital designing.
